Fall Girls Cheerleading 2024 - Fall 2024

This is a recreational cheerleading program for girls in Kindergarten-5th grade that attend or reside in the Bethel School District.  This fun program is designed to teach the participants the fundamentals of cheerleading including basic cheers and motions. Participants are placed on cheer squads by school and coached by parent volunteers. Each squad will be scheduled to cheer for 6 flag football games.

Practices will be held on weeknights and begin the week of September 16.  Practice nights are based on volunteer coach scheduling. Parents will be contacted after the coaches meeting held in early September.

Games will be held on Saturdays and begin on Saturday, September 28-November 2.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: AUGUST 18 

COST: $75 (includes shirt, bow and poms)

Important: Please make every effort to register by the registration deadline. Late registration may result in the player not playing with their school or possibly not playing at all. To register late: (after Aug. 18) you must sign up on the wait list and placement is not guaranteed.  A late fee of $10 will be issued after the regular registration deadline.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Can special requests be made?: No, there are no special requests. Participants are placed by their school. If there are not enough participants from each school, schools will be combined.
  • When will practices start?: Practices begin the week of September 16 and practice times will be set up by your coach . If you have not heard from a coach by Friday, September 13 call your coordinator.
  • When and where will squads cheer?: Cheer squads will cheer at our K-6th flag football games. Each squad will be scheduled for 6 games and will begin Saturday September 28 through November 2.
  • What equipment do cheerleaders need?: Participants will receive pom poms. No other equipment is required.
  • What do participants wear for uniforms?: All cheerleaders must wear the Bethel Rec. issued t-shirt that will be available by the first game unless you registered late.
  • Are there going to be pictures?: It is up to each coach to schedule their own pictures with our photographer. Bethel Rec. team pictures will be scheduled on Saturdays early in the season.

  • What do we do if we need a refund?: All refund requests must be submitted by 3:00PM on Sept 27 on the on-line request form on our website at bethelrec.org. Partial refunds for cheer and a $10 administrative fee for all refunds.
